Fifteen years ago, when my three children were young, I needed someone to help me with the daunting task of maintaining a burgeoning household and providing strong support and loving care to my children. I contacted several agencies hoping to find a few qualified candidates. Instead, I was inundated with telephone calls from a variety of candidates and left with the overwhelming job of interviewing each and every one.

    I expected the agencies I contacted to do all the preliminary interviews and background checks, sending me only the most qualified candidates. As it was, the process was exhausting, confusing, and an immense tax on my, already precious, time. After completing this process, I decided to found an agency that would perform a thorough pre-screening process, placing only appropriate, qualified candidates before our clients.

    Welcome to Tami's Agency. Our role is to assist families by identifying candidates who closely match the individual criteria of each family. We help families find experienced and caring nannies, certified baby nurses, housekeepers and personal care assistants on a part-time and full-time basis.

    We are an established, New York State Licensed and Bonded agency, entering our sixteenth year of domestic placement services. Our candidates make an important contribution to the intellectual, physical, emotional and social well being of their charges. Our services include live-in, live-out, full-time, part-time, and summer care for families located in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.
